Lets get boats to go to Dallas, pitch a tent lake side, grab a whata burger and a beer, sail some great races and enjoy some warmer weather.

Great work onthe new look for the site Hans.
Whos going to Dallas? If we do not make a good showing this year, the C boats might not be going back. Lets keep this great regatta going strong.

Team Mud is with you Augie!

The Black Tie regatta is such a fun event. If you've never been, or haven't been down in a while I highly recommend you go. It kicks off your summer early, and the hospitality / social is top notch!

Find some friends, line up a double-decket, and make the trip.

Chris

Just checked.  Registration for Black Tie is now up at mcscow.org.  Maybe if we got a link on our main page?

Also at same address is list of registered boats.  Don't see someone who should be there... flame away.

btw, I'm in.

It has been posted this morning (sorry for the delay, I was out of town for the last 5 days for kids ski racing events).

As of this morning registration is up to 14 boats. Okoboji and Lotawana are leading the way with 3 each!

Let's make this event a 30 plus boat regatta! Find a friend, a double decker trailer and make plans to head south to Dallas.

More C's registered than MC's so far.

As far as free beer promotions go, I'll throw in a case of beer for the lake that brings the second most C boats to the Black Tie.  We're (Lotawana) going to have 9-15 boats coming, either way... so I'll take the slow MO's out of the running.  See me in the parking lot to collect.  Since its Texas, I wonder if It should be Lone Star or Pearl?

Right now boji is leading the pack w/ three boats.  All of them are Averys, and they own a bar... so I'm guessing a free case of beer isn't that big a deal to them anyway.   Surely somebody can get another boat or two from their lake to go and rightfully claim this fine case of Texas pilsner??!!

We hit the road for Dallas in just over 24 hours!

Even though the registration shows 21 boats I've seen some straw polls that claim 30 C's will be there. Plus, some forecasts are showing good breeze. Should be a great regatta!
