1970s C Scow with wooden mast for sale

Have had the scow for 30+ years. A great day sailer and the wooden mast is beautiful.

Some wear on hull consistent with a boat of this age. Not sure of exact year, but in the 70s.

Comes with trailer, though it hasn't been on the road. We've been using it on Lake Chautauqua, NY and storing it on site.

Sail is in great shape. I'll try to post pics soon.

Also, North Sails Haircut Plus and North lt/med sail. Lightly trailered, only sailed about one home regatta every year. Anyone who's raced against this boat knows it should be illegal, but instead it can be yours for only $10,500 complete with trailer and mast/boom bunks, full deck cover, new Quantum lt/med sail used only at '08 Inland. Other Q lt/med and hvy and North med and hvy sails included. Lightly trailered, only sailed about one away regatta every other year. New lines, new tapered mainsheet. Spotless and squeaky clean. 1998 C-Scow For $2500 In Maryland

Sorry, correct year is 1992 20' C-Scow. Comes with trailer and two sails (light & medium) and a storage cover designed to fit over the boom and around the mast while on the trailer. It has only been sailed lightly in fresh water and stored under cover for most of its life in Tennessee. I am the third owner and bought it just before a major job change and relocation; I now realize that I will be unable to use it. The hull below the water is in racing shape. The deck is almost perfect with one ding in the water gutter aft of the traveler on the center line and a few spider webs from docking on the bow. Standing Rigging appears original, mast and boom are sound. Stays are showing wear. Running Rigging is useable for day sailing or light club racing but hasn't been updated recently.

This boat has never been raced and is in excellent shape.
Inspection or more pictures are available upon request.

Located in Piney Point Maryland and will deliever up to 100 miles.

Still competitive as we got a 2nd and 4th in individual races at Interlake regatta in 2008. Full deck cover and a couple sails. Now being sailed on Lake Minnetonka near Minneapolis.

EVERYTHING was replaced on this boat 3 years ago. It is rigged and buffed like a new boat. Of course new style mast.

This boat is ready to race. Just finished the Lake Fenton club series in 4th, beating out a number of newer boats. Stiff white hull with no major damage (shows normal wear and tear). 80% of lines and stays have been replaced in the past five years. Comes with a trailer (bearings recently packed - new lights added), 2 older but usable sails (LM and Heavy), and older cockpit cover. 1998 Johnson C-scow for sale

The boat is in great shape. Hull is solid no soft spots, recently buffed. Lines are all in good condition, and the stays have been replaces with the past several years. The sails are also in good shape, they are still crisp with no rips or tears. There is an 01’ heavy and an 03’ light air sail. There is a bottom and top cover which are both in average condition. They still work just fine they are just a little stretched out. The trailer is also in good condition and the bearings have been repacked at the beginning of this season
Boat is in Grand Rapids, Mi (would be willing to drive some)

Last fall, some !@%#$%@% stole the tiller out of my C parked in my apartment parking lot. Therefore, I need a new tiller for a 1981 Johnson C-scow. However, I do not know if the bolt pattern is the same. I remember one bolt was I think a 9/16ths and the other was a 1/2inch. Please let me know if I might as well just be looking for a rudder too...

The junior program at my club has a sail from a C Scow that we are trying to sell for a few $$. There aren't any C Scows in our area anymore. I'm not sure how old it is, but it was made by Melges. It would be a good practice sail.

I just purchased a small scow type boat at an auction. the paperwork says it is a Royal. but I cant find anything on it. it is about 14 feet long and appears to have been built in 86. The sail seems to have a class marking of 444. Sorry i dont have a photo. it has dual dagger boards and 2 rudders. any help in finding out more would be a great help.
